Lovely cafe by the quay—our go-to spot for cream tea. The scones are delicious and generously sized, with a great selection of pastries. My child loved his chocolate doughnut, and the coffee was excellent too.

Lovely cafe with great views over the Exeter quay from the tables inside or out. Four of us went for lunch and were delighted with the quality and quantity of the very reasonably priced food and all freshly prepared. Very good salad and excellent coffee to go with it.

New to town and jet lagged, and stumbled upon this spot for breakfast. Great spot with a view of the river Exe. Food was good, and service was quick. Great spot to people (and dog) watch as well! The price was great as well - looking forward to visiting often in the future.

This place is totes amazing. I popped in to the cafe with the deepest desire to avoid gale force winds and inhale some calories whilst cycling from dorset to South Hams. Whilst the all day breakfast was amazingly tempting, I went for a baked beans and scrambled egg on toast combo... and OMG, the portion was generous and exceptionally well presented.... with butter and a wedge of bread vice some meh slice of toast from the supermarket . Hot and enjoyable, the food itself would be a reason to visit, but hey, the team also let me charge my phone and let me avoid the worst of the weather as I plucked up the courage to cycle the final 38 miles... All in all. A great gaff selling tasty food and further blessed by really engaging staff. Whilst other cafes in Exeter have a standard 'no' to going the extra mile, these champs aced it. Definitely recommended.

We dropped in with the family on a very busy Sunday. Lovely warm welcoming staff, cakes and ice cream to die for. Service was excellent. Noted the doggie ice creams so next time we will be including our 2 canine family members too.
